Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
This Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered solely by Land Liberty Movement, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Bozeman, Montana (EIN 39-3245897) (”Sponsor”). Mailing address: PO Box 6562 Bozeman, Montana 59771
2. When the Sweepstakes Operates
This Sweepstakes runs only in connection with in-person events at which the Sponsor displays Sweepstakes signage (such as a branded table or banner). A separate entry period applies to each such event and runs for the duration of that event. The Sponsor will conduct a random drawing within ten (10) days following the close of each event. The specific dates of any entry period and its drawing are determined by the Sponsor and are available on request. No entry period is open except in connection with such an event.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members and members of their households, are not eligible to enter or win.
4. How to Enter
There are two (2) ways to enter during an active entry period. Limit one (1) entry per person per event.
(a) By subscription: Subscribe to the Build the Dream email newsletter during an active entry period (for example, by scanning the Sweepstakes QR code at the Sponsor’s table).
(b) In person: Complete and submit a sign-up card at the Sponsor’s table during the event.
Duplicate entries by the same person within a single event will be consolidated into one (1) entry.
5. Prizes
Two (2) prizes are awarded per entry period:
Prize A: one (1) branded jacket. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $150.
Prize B: one (1) branded hat. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $18.
Prizes are non-transferable. No cash equivalent and no substitution, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. All prize details not specified here are at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
Two (2) winners will be selected per entry period in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the applicable entry period. The first eligible name drawn receives Prize A (jacket); the second eligible name drawn receives Prize B (hat). No entrant may win more than one prize per event. The drawing will be conducted on or about the drawing date for that period using a random selection method. Each winner will be notified by email at the address provided within seven (7) days of the drawing. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within seven (7) days of notification, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, that prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.
7. Odds
Two (2) prizes are available per event. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable entry period.
8. General Conditions
By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes or any entry period if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes.
9. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is used and protected in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available HERE. Entrants who enter by subscription understand they will be added to the Build the Dream newsletter list and may unsubscribe at any time.
10. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, last initial, and city and state of residence for promotional purposes, without further compensation or notice.
11. Taxes
Each winner is solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt or use of a prize.
12. Limitation of Liability
By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.
13. Independent Promotion / No Affiliation
This Sweepstakes is sponsored solely by Land Liberty Movement. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any event, conference, venue, organization, or third-party platform at or through which it may be promoted.
14. Governing Law
This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Void where prohibited.
15. Winner List
For the names of the winners of any entry period, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Land Liberty Movement, Attn: Sweepstakes Winners, PO Box 6562 Bozeman, Montana 59771 to be received within ninety (90) days after the applicable drawing date.
